John C. Wright joined Alterman Inc, in 1979 and is a Master Electrician for the state of Texas, with over 38 years of construction experience.  John is Alterman’s President and Chief Executive Officer and has overall responsibility for the leadership and strategic vision of the organization. In addition, John is also an active member in his community by staying involved with organizations such as; the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), member of Electri International, Southwestern Region representative of the Electric Roundtable, a board member of the Employee Owned S-Corporations of America (ESCA), and a mentor in the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), San Antonio Chapter, Mentor/Protégé program, assisting growing specialty contractors in their business endeavors.

Chris ThielChris Thiel, CMA

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Thiel is a Certified Management Accountant with over 23 years of financial and administrative management experience. He is responsible for the development of business policies, benefit review and management, and administrative management and provides overall direction for financial operations, risk management, contract administration, purchasing and human resources. He also serves on Alterman’s Board of Directors and is the Secretary and Treasurer. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.


Mr. Thiel has financial management experience in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, real estate and oil & gas. During his career, he has held senior leadership roles including CFO, VP of Operations, Controller and Financial Manager. Mr. Thiel currently serves on the Board for the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce where he is a member of the Government Affairs Council, the Chairman’s Council and the Finance Council. In addition, he is a member of the Employee Owned S-Corporations of America (ESCA) Board of Directors and serves as the Chair of the ESCA Programs Committee. Mr. Thiel is currently participating as a Mentor in the Associated General Contractors of America, San Antonio Chapter, Mentor/Protégé program assisting growing specialty contractors in their business endeavors.

denis st pierreDenis St. Pierre

Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Mr. St. Pierre is a Master Electrician with over 33 years experience in the electrical construction industry including the last 20 years as a senior level executive. He is responsible for the day to day management and operating activities of the company's Construction Services, Technologies, Water/Wastewater, Controls, and Service Divisions while providing direction and leadership toward the achievement of the company's mission, strategy, goals and objectives. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Husson College in Bangor, Maine and in 2017 he received AGC's Lean Construction Education Program, approved instructor certification.

greg padaleckiGreg Padalecki

Director of Estimating and Pre-Construction

Mr. Padalecki possesses extensive knowledge of estimating processes and procedures stemming from his experience with design-build, design-assist, and conceptual estimating. As Director of Estimating & Pre-Construction, Mr. Padalecki directs budget estimates and value engineering recommendations, manages the preparation of electrical proposals, and helps price substantial change orders, as well as oversees vendor partnerships to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness. He utilizes Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques to provide valued input, and he supervises pre-construction planning with a proactive approach to maximizing performance enhancement opportunities through the review, identification, and use of project re-engineering, pre-fabrication, and pre-assembly detailing. Mr. Padalecki also ensures that all pre-construction and project support departmental staffing needs are met so that schedules are kept and responsibilities are completed. He thoroughly understands the National Electric Code and engineering standards, and his ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals develops and maintains positive client-contractor relationships.

Mr. Salinas leads Alterman Technologies. He manages business growth, acquisition of dealer markets, employment, and training. A BICSI member for the South Central region, Mr. Salinas is a journeyman electrician and has been with Alterman for over 16 years.

denny crouchDenny Crouch

Director of Service

Mr. Crouch is a licensed Journeyman Electrician in the State of Texas with over 20 years experience in the electrical industry. He directs construction operations and business development for the Special Projects & Service Division, which includes 24-hour emergency service, preventive maintenance, and smaller-scale, specialty construction projects.

guy katzGuy W. Katz

Director of Manpower & Safety

Mr. Katz is a Journeyman Electrician with 35 years of experience in electrical construction. A Certified Instructor in Occupational Safety & Health Standards for the Construction Industry (OSHA 500), he supervises staffing requirements for all field operations and is responsible for implementation and improvements to our safety program.
